Speaking to Reuters, William Campbell, a former lobbyist for Tenex, the U.S.-based arm of Rosatom, said he’s ready to release all the evidence he has of impropriety that occurred as the Uranium One deal was being pushed through. “I have worked with the Justice Department undercover for several years, and documentation relating to Uranium One and political influence does exist and I have it,” Campbell said, although he declined to give the exact details of what he has.As many are aware, Campbell had been under a Justice Department gag order under threat of imprisonment if he spoke publicly about what he knew. However, at the direction of President Trump, Attorney General Jeff Sessions lifted the order so that Campbell could speak to Congress about about what he knew. Since we first learned of Campbell, his attorney, Victoria Toensing, has disclosed that he has recordings, bank records, phone records, and other evidence that the deal was made under shady circumstances. In a late October interview on Sean Hannity’s program, Toensing revealed that her client has the “smoking gun” evidence needed to take down those involved with the sale of 20 percent of America’s uranium to our Cold War adversary, we previously reported.John Solomon: Just a little bit ago before we came on Victoria and I talked and she was able to confirm to me that her client has information that Director Mueller and President Obama and other officials were briefed on this investigation in real time as it was going on… Attorney Victoria Toensing: My client was told this information, now maybe the bureau is bluffing but I don’t think so because they were very specific. They said that the briefing made it into President Obama’s daily briefing papers. So I don’t think they made that up.
